To ensure customs of marae, beliefs, calling, oratory, singing, religion, genealogy, customs of the environment and our people are maintained

To ensure our language is spoken by our people using proverbs, identity, and genealogy

Accommodation will be available at Ōpeke Marae, 

all meals will be provided.

Learning will take place at Ōpeke Marae.
 

The Kura Reo is for Whakatōhea descent and strongly affiliated with the Iwi. 

Pōhiri is at 4pm 9th July

All tauira are expected to attend the pōhiri.
