Te Pou Oranga O Whakatohea Workforce Development programmes are approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority under section 249 of the Education Act 1989, and the Te Pou Oranga O Whakatohea Workforce development is accredited to provide the programmes under section 250 of the Act.
Te Ara Tau-Pathway to Well-being is designed to assist adults in regaining their balance and getting back on their feet. The program uses the concept of Whare Tapa Wha to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to well-being.
Te Ara Tau programme is designed to be flexible and tailored to each whanau's unique needs and circumstances, this includes a range of services and support, such as individual and whanau assessments, goal setting, coaching, and mentoring, advocacy, and access to other community services and resources. It also aims to empower whanau to take control of their lives and make positive changes for themselves and their families.
