Tohekura is for all levels of competency in Te Reo, from beginners to advanced; we encourage you to register regardless of your level of fluency in Te Reo, as all needs will be catered for. The kura reo is for Whakatōhea descent and strongly affiliated with the Iwi.

About the event
Tohekura is a wānanga reo programme that is held over a period of four days from:
Friday, 31st May, to Monday, 3rd June 2024.
Learning will take place at Waiaua Marae
Pōhiri is (TBC) All tauira are expected to attend the pōhiri.
Registrations close Friday, 17th May 2024, at 4 pm. Only 200 spaces are available.
Accommodation will be available at the marae, and all meals will be provided.
