Te āheinga - The opportunity:
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, this role will collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and support business objectives. This role involves managing data systems, generating reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and outcomes. In addition, this role will manage projects that look to optimising the current databases.
Ngā Kawenga me ngā Mahi – Duties & responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and define data requirements

Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights

Monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) and create regular performance reports

Train end-users and provide technical support to ensure effective adoption of database systems

Troubleshoot any technical database issues, referring to external providers where necessary
Ngā wheako me ngā pūkenga - Experience & Skills required:

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or Tableau.

Experience in data visualization and presenting insights to non-technical audiences.

Knowledge of best practice data modelling, database design, and data cleaning techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
