TOHENIHORAUTIA TE REO
Tohekura is a wānanga reo programme that is held over a period of four days from Friday, 2nd June, to Monday, 5th June 2023.
Tohekura is for all levels of competency in Te Reo, from beginners to advanced; we encourage you to register regardless of your level of fluency in Te Reo, as all needs will be catered for.

To ensure our language is spoken by our people using proverbs, identity, and genealogy
Registrations close Friday, 19th May 2023, at 4 pm
Only 200 spaces are available.
Accommodation will be available at the marae,
all meals will be provided.
Learning will take place at Opape and Omarumutu Marae.
The kura reo is for Whakatōhea descent and strongly affiliated with the Iwi.
Pōhiri is at (TBC)
All tauira are expected to attend the pōhiri.
