Fixed-Term Calf Rearers!

We seek dedicated and reliable Fixed-Term Calf Rearers to join our team during the busy calving season. As a valued team member, you will be crucial in rearing heifer replacements and beef calves.

Flexibility in work hours is required to accommodate seasonal demands. In addition, this position requires reliable transportation and is essential.

​

Duration: July 1st to November 1st

​

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

​

• Punctuality and Reliability: Demonstrate a consistent track record of timeliness and reliability, ensuring the smooth operation of daily responsibilities.

• ​

• Ability to Work Unsupervised: Showcase self-motivation and ability to work independently, effectively managing tasks and responsibilities.

• ​

• Commitment to Health and Safety: Maintain an exceptional attitude towards health and safety practices, prioritising the well-being of both animals and team members.

• ​

• Calf Rearing or Stock Experience: Preferably have experience in calf rearing or related stock management activities, enabling you to perform tasks competently.

• ​

• Physical Fitness: Be capable of lifting to 20 kg, as physical demands are an inherent part of the role.

• ​

• Effective Communication Skills: Possess practical communication skills and an eye for detail, ensuring clear and accurate information exchange.

• ​

• Pride in Work and Environment: Take pride in your workmanship, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

• Driver's License: Hold a restricted or full driver's license, enabling you to fulfil job requirements effectively.
