Tūāpapa Introductory Foundation Course

Tūāpapa Introductory Foundation Course is a 3-week programme for the fundamental principles of basic seafood tasks.
It is covering entry-level skills and knowledge required by the seafood industry. 

Graduates will be capable of carrying out the various entry-level routine tasks across the seafood industry sectors. ​

Training Pathway
Unit  Number 5332
Demonstrates knowledge of and use hygienic work practices while working with seafood

Unit  Number 6213
Demonstrates knowledge of and use safe work practices in the seafood industry

Unit  Number 31656
Demonstrates knowledge of, and maintain, a safe work area while working with seafood products

Qualification
New Zealand Certificate in Primary Industry Skills – Seafood (Level 2)
