The Whakatōhea Health Centre aims to provide the best general practice medical care in an efficient, cost effective & culturally appropriate manner. It is important that primary health care is focused on improving poor health statistics for māori as they are the most affected. The Whakatōhea Health centre provides whānau and community oriented primary care and medical services. They are cornerstone accredited, and our small friendly medical practice provides a range of services from a caring and experienced team. The Whakatōhea Health Centre provides first level services and best practise care aimed at improving, maintaining and restoring health.

A nurse-led clinic for acute and urgent primary medical care is open at the Opotiki Health Centre, 32a King Street, Opotiki; Monday to Friday: 5.00pm to 10.00pm Saturday/Sunday and Public Holidays: 8.00am to 10.00pm. ** Refer urgent patient to Opotiki Community Health Centre on 07 315 8500 |
