The Board's business activities are based in and around Ōpōtiki and spread across various industry's including agriculture, horticulture,  forestry, fisheries and aquaculture.

Our land based operations include farms, kiwifruit orchards and forestry which have provided the Board with some financial stability in recent times. The Board's move into the aquaculture sector has signalled a move away from traditional business investments, into an exciting and new industry. The venture with Eastern Seafarms Limited has opened new doors, and forged and strengthened relationships with local, regional and national partners.
